Portia holds a Bachelor of Journalism from Ryerson University in Toronto, and been working with clients, brands and companies "get social" for over 6 years.
Portia was the co-lead of the CTV Olympics social media team for the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games, live reporting (and tweeting!) primetime events, managing a team of social ambassadors at home and abroad and regularly interacting with athletes, high profile clients and Olympic fans throughout the Games. Portia's news credits include CTV's Canada AM, Global News, ABC, The Hockey News and many more.
Now located in Vancouver, Portia focusses on the client side of digital marketing, working with restaurants, arts companies, hotels, startups and other small businesses. Her strong writing and creative skills add a unique flavour and edge to her content, which doesn't go unnoticed.
